PRAYER LIST (ONGOING)
Prayer Updates & Specific Ways to Pray
*Newest updates will always appear at the top so everyone can follow along and pray specifically with us throughout this journey.
July 28: MRI DAY! Please pray for not only the results to be great but for us to fully experience His goodness in each step and to walk through this day with big faith. We will share results later today...
Also pray for our friend, Erika, who is also having a significant MRI today in her glioblastoma journey. We are believing in great results for both of them today!

July 21 PRAYER POINTS UPDATE:
MRI coming on July 28 - believing in a great scan!
Wisdom for the decisions that follow the appt with Dr Weathers on July 28 after the MRI
No more seizures, increased stability of Justin's left side
Clear vision for Justin (in the physical and the spiritual!)
Parker's lungs to continue to get strong, for her to fully be able to breathe on her own soon
No long term issues from the treatments/health struggles Parker has been through so far in the NICU
Continued strength, wisdom, peace, protection and provision for our whole family
June 17 UPDATE:
Parker Rae is one week old and doing GREAT! The Tishers have found a small rental home for a few weeks near the hospital where they will use as home base so they can see Parker as much as possible. Ash will remain near the hospital most of the time for feeding purposes while working remotely and Hunter will commute back to PK Lake most days to work. Peyton will stay with Mom some days and go with Dad others while having time with her Grandparents and Aunts often during Parker's NICU stay. Please continue to keep them in their prayers!! The current prayer targets are:
·Continued progress with no complications...everything is headed in the right direction!!
·Gain weight - no spitting up
·Reduction of air in her little belly from the CPAP
·Logistics...lots and lots of them!
Justin is still doing well with treatments. The reduction of the steroid has helped a lot. He has a little over 2 weeks left of SOC Phase 2. He is continuing to do everything he can to be healthy so his body is not a favorable terrain for cancer growth. We are still waiting on bloodwork and a plan from Dr. Saxon but he did get a prescription for Menbendazole that we are super excited about!
Today we had a conversation with the National Brain Tumor Society...thanks to Justin's sister, Cynthia, for having great connections with people who are THE experts in the world of glioblastoma! The zoom call today was great and got several more balls rolling for the near future along with answering some questions we didn't even know we needed to ask!
Justin and the kids came up to Fort Worth this weekend and he got to meet his tiny little granddaughter! We also got in some family time while in the metroplex. Please pray for wisdom as we all navigate what it looks like to support these unique medical needs in 2 different cities at the same time.

WELCOME PARKER RAE TISHER!
Little did we know when I posted the update on the 10th that it would be a great day for our newest grand baby to make her arrival. She decided the 3rd trimester would be better spent outside the womb and after seeing the condition of the placenta at birth, we agree with that timing. She is exceedingly healthy for a baby born at 26 weeks and 2 days. Her momma is doing great too. Miss Parker is chillin' in the Harris NICU with an incredible care team for the next few months. Please pray for Ashlyn and Hunter and big sister Peyton as they navigate the dynamics of relocation/commuting during the hospital stay, the finances, learning curve and all the things that are involved with having a micro preemie.

June 10 - General Update
Justin will be halfway through with his radiation treatment today! So far his only real side effects are some minor hair loss, a little bit of "fogginess" and fatigue...this is what the docs told us to expect. Please pray:
Justin does not have a "harder" second half as we are being told will happen. He is working out, taking supplements, eating healthy, fasting, speaking life, declaring truth, and many other things to help his body stay strong and as symptom free as he knocks this cancer out!
Wisdom as we work in the integrated suggestions from Dr Saxon
Worship Night was AWESOME and filled with miracles! More details to come....thank you to everyone who helped and came to join us!
Mollie and Aspen are in Ft Worth helping the Tishers. Thankful for other peeps being willing to step up and get Justin to appointments with me being gone!! Prayers for:
Labor to stop and for baby to be born once she is full term (she is 26 weeks)
Healthy momma and baby regardless of delivery date
Natural of a birth as possible (a high risk hospital delivery was the opposite of their birth plan)
Financial and logistical provision as they navigate missed work, transportation and lodging 1.5 hrs away from home, and all the details that go into a long term hospital stay.
The "juggle" - we need peace not being able to be in two places at once!
June 4 - ROOTS Integrated Medicine - NEW PRAYER POINTS
We LOVED Dr Saxon with Roots Integrated Medicine in Marble Falls, TX. There aren't many Integrated Medicine docs here in Texas, especially in Houston, so we are grateful to have gotten in from the wait list to see Dr. Saxon sooner than expected and she was able to do a virtual appt for this one since Justin has to be at MD Anderson every day. She filled our hope tank! New prayer points after this appt:
Quick lab results that allow for a refined, decisive, powerful, integrated protocol for Justin to follow ASAP. (We should have the orders tonight so we can do all the lab work tomorrow). There are several things she wants to add/adjust but goes by an approach of "test, access, then address but don't guess", so we won't do anything until she sees exactly what his body needs/might respond well to.
For Dr Weathers (Neuro Oncologist) to order a Gallium67 scan which will allow Dr Saxon to see if Justin can add Gallium Maltolate to his protocol. It's had some incredible effectiveness on GBM's recently but it's very hard to attain right now. There is a potential research study that he could be a part of and has a supply available. This scan needs to be ordered by an oncologist and is required for access to this research study. Also pray the results are favorable for this treatment!
Continued financial provision...a lot of this, including travel, supplements, etc... will not be covered in our Health Share Plan.
Pray for Samaritan Ministries (health share plan) including the members who are sharing in this need for us and the INCREDIBLE staff that has been so helpful. It's a process to navigate through this, but we wouldn't want to do it any other way. We have 107 families assigned to send their shares to us for Justin's medical bills along with the most wonderful Samaritan staff praying for us this month. It's been a beautiful and supportive process and we feel like we have a huge new community that we haven't even met!
Don't forget to pray for worship night this Sat!!
Justin would like driving privileges back...he is asking Dr Weathers that tomorrow afternoon.
Steroids approved to cut in half!! This is great news - pray it brings down his blood sugar, clears his thoughts, and evens out his mood quickly.
May 28 - UPDATES
Ashlyn is home and she and baby are doing well! Continue to pray!
Radiation and Chemo are going well so far. Found out yesterday that they are having to radiate a larger area due to the MRI showing signs of microcellular activity in the left frontal lobe. This means a larger quantity of radiation over more of his brain beyond the tumor resection area.
Don't forget to pray for the worship night on June 6...the team, those traveling in, and all the logistics to create space for worship and miracles!
PRAISE! Dr. Perni said Justin can stop taking BP meds...the new diet/exercise/healthy mindset protocol is making a positive impact! One step closer to no meds!
May 26 — Fox News Interview

Amniotic fluid to remain at healthy levels

Minimal to no side effects from radiation and chemo
Strength, energy, appetite, sleep, cognition, and emotional endurance
